We are looking for a hands-on, independent, strong-skilled, and enthusiastic Senior Accountant to take responsibility for the Financial Reporting of India and other entities across the globe, while we continue to grow our statutory and international accounting function and strive to reach our goal of hitting $10 billion and beyond. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various functions – HR, Tax, Legal, Payroll, FP&A, Facilities – across the organization domestically and internationally to ensure efficient and timely completion of Financial Reporting.
Support India’s statutory financial reporting production and filling for other entities across the globe.
Manage the financial reporting process with a Global Accounting expert vendor, including setting up expected timelines, managing financial deliverables, responding to auditor queries, and guaranteeing that all the necessary information requests are fulfilled within the expected audit timelines.
Prepare local trial balances with US GAAP to Local GAAP bridges. Reconcile the ledger adjustments and prepare GAAP to GAAP supporting documentation.
Assist in preparing audit support required by local auditors as part of the audit engagement
Be responsible for producing and/or reviewing Financial Statements based on local accounting frameworks.
You will help drive the design, implementation, maintenance, or improvement of accounting policies and procedures as well as processes related to International Financial Reporting.
Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members in delivering high-quality, decision-ready information to our business partners
Assist in other international compliance projects such as local statutory tax fillings and statistical surveys.
Assist in month-end close processes such as preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
Perform special purpose or ad hoc analyses as required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Accounting certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, and CA from ICAI, are preferred.
5+ years of relevant professional experience is required (combination of private and public experience preferred); deep understanding of India GAAP, IFRS, and U.S. GAAP.

Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills
Takes initiative to implement changes that will simplify and improve processes
Willing to tackle challenges in a continuously changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the team, management, peers, cross-functional groups, and business partners
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (such as VLOOKUP & conditional statements, pivot tables, data analysis, data visualization, and what-if-analysis)
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing tasks
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience with SAP Hana (ERP) is preferred

Base Pay Range
Base Pay INR 1,600,000.00 – 2,200,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
